This beautiful golden unicorn is made out of red-velvet cake and filled with chocolate chip cookie dough!
This was another birthday cake. The horn, ears, hair and flowers that decorate the unicorn are all made from white fondant. Everything gold was hand painted. A good dusting of gold lustre-dust let the unicorn's fondant mane shine.
The cake interior consists of 4 layers of 8" (inch) red-velvet cake, filled and dirty iced with chocolate chip cookie dough and everything's covered with white (vegan) fondant.
This cake is chocolate upon chocolate upon chocolate!
A delicious chocolate sponge filled with milk chocolate ganache, drizzeled with a semi-sweet chocolate ganache and topped with white chocolate curls and delicious belgian seashell chocolates.
What a birthday cake!
Hey, I'm back with this super nerdy Birthday Cake I did for my best friend!
It's supposed to be an Animal Cell Model on a wooden base.
The Cake is chocolate sponge filled with ganache. I used two different sponge recipes for the top and bottom part respectively, just because I could.
Disclaimer: I am not that well-versed in Biology, I do not claim any of this to be anatomically correct.
So this was a Birthday Cake for my best friend who requested a Doctor Who and Hobbit themed cake.
I airbrushed the back of the cake galaxy style and made the rest of the decorations out of fondant.
The cake itself is red velvet with cookie dough for the top one and chocolate sponge with black forest filling(whipped cream/ganache/cherries) for the bottom one.
Yesterday I was invited to my uncle's birthday party. He's really interested in cars and turned 53 so my father suggested a beetle with the start number 53 as a birthday cake.
I carved the car out of two vertical halves of a 12" chocolate sponge cake, which I had 'glued' together with dark chocolate ganache.
I made all the details out of fondant.
So it's been a while, but I finally found the opportunity to bake another cake! Yesterday was my cousins’ birthday and since the last cake was very hush-hush I planned this one thoroughly.
I actually wanted to do this design for a while and I was given full artistic freedom on what the cake should look like or be.
The cake is made to look like a bed, I made the head & footboard a week prior to let the gum paste dry and luckily that made the curlicue on the headboard stick and not fall off. I hand painted all the blue and gold but used an airbrush for the cake board. I also used a texture-rolling pin for the 'blanked'.
The cake itself is red velvet with cookie dough filling.
I was asked to make a certain kind of soft drink can cake for an 18th Birthday. The can was supposed to lie on its side and the calories label should be a nod to the birthday girl’s age.
The cake itself is four layers of 6" chocolate sponge filled with chocolate chip cookie dough.
The whole structure was a bit unstable at first but it seemed to work in the end.
I was invited to a birthday party and asked to bring a cake.
The design is inspired by one of the birthday girl’s favourite manga-characters clothing and accessories.

I also tried to make a 3D crown, but the fondant didn't have enough time to set so it collapsed in on itself and I had to make do with a 2D one...
So on Saturday I was invited to a 18th Birthday Party and, as always, I made a cake!
The Birthday Girl is an aspiring writer and has a passion for fancy notebooks to write in, so I tried to capture these intrest in the design of this cake.
The cake itself is red velvet with cookie dough filling covered in dark modelling chocolate and fondant.
I was asked to make a two tiered Birthday Cake with a Poker theme. The idea was to have big 3D-Poker Chip Cakes on a square cake base and some cards and chips strewn around.
The cake is chocolate sponge filled with cookie dough (top tiers) and white chocolate ganache (bottom tier). The cards are rice paper and the rest is made out of fondant and hand painted.
With this Cake I had even more creative freedom. All I was asked to do, was to make something with white fondant and writing.
The cake itself is red velvet filled with white chocolate ganache. It is covered in white vanilla fondant and decorated with edible lace, a border of beads at the bottom and Happy Birthday written between the laces.
This Cake was an 18th Birthday Cake and they wanted a square cake with this Logo on it but left most of the design to me.
The cake itself is a chocolate sponge filled with dark chocolate ganache. I actually used dark modelling chocolate to cover the cake and made the bow and the logo out of a fondant/gumpaste mix.
My cousin turned 14 last Monday, but I have to admit all my creativity went into the Doll Dress
Cake I did at the same time, so the idea I came up with is this....
My cousin recently enjoyed a trip to Paris and he really liked it, so I though I try to sketch the Eiffel Tower (as you can see my artistic talent is astounding!) and this was just supposed to be
my first try, but I just couldn't find the time to do a cleaner sketch, so I just went ahead and airbrushed this one.
The cake under this beautiful work of art was an 8" square chocolate cake filled with white chocolate ganache and chocolate chips...
Last Friday I was invited to a 18th Birthday party and, as always, my gift was a cake. The birthday girl asked me if it would be possible to either add some of her favourite movie-characters or make the cake Christmas-y with red and green colours.
As you can see I tried to combine both, even though the red was more a pink...

I was asked to make an 18th birthday cake for today and they wanted, if possible, a shoe on top and something red in colour.
I made the shoe on Wednesday even though these things should be done weeks in advance, but the commission was on rather short notice. I though the price tag with the 18th on it would be cute and if you look closely you can see an M embossed in the shoes sole.
The cake is chocolate cake filled with cookie dough frosting and covered in white fondant.
My cousin turned 16 on Monday and I was told that he wanted a laptop, so I decided to try and make his wish come
true...
I have to admit that the design wasn't 100% thought through, but in my defence I only gave myself one day before the event to decide to make a cake in the first place and come up with a decent design idea.
The cake is a 10'' square chocolate cake which I cut to be more a rectangle than a perfect square and filled with chocolate ganache.
